Bird seed wreath...Tie with ribbons and hang it for the birds to enjoy.
Bird Seed Wreath~
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup warm water
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
4 cups bird seed
bundt pan
nonstick spray
Stir the gelatin into warm water until dissolved. Whisk in the corn syrup and flour. Stir well, it will make a thick gooey paste.
Mix the seeds with the paste in a large bowl until all of the seeds are coated and the edible glue is distributed. The mixture will start getting very sticky.
Make sure its well mixed to keep the wreath from falling apart.
Spray the bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Using a spoon, press the seed mixture into the bundt pan. Be sure to press the mixture down firmly until its well packed and even. Set the pan aside overnight. The mixture will harden and turn white and the surface will be firm and dry when its ready.
Once the wreath is hard, gently remove it from the mold. Tie with ribbons, and hang it for birds to enjoy!!

My friend made me one of these wreaths and shared this blog site with me. I was in love with the cute ideas (The link is under my favorites on the right side of page). These make great gifts for the bird lovers in your life.

Thank you for sharing this recipe....I want to make one of these for my birds.....
And I didn't know it was that easy....thank you again....
I love these. I had my kids help me make a few for my mom for Christmas. They live on a large farm and have so many different birds that come and visit. It was easy to make but looked so beautiful when it was done. You know, I was so busy before Christmas I forgot to take a picture!!!! Guess I will have to make more. Thanks for the idea!
