Ok, it's obvious I am a big Kim VD fan, because I found yet another great video of hers showing us how to brayer an embossing folder in order to make the most beautiful monogrammed card. It would make a beautiful gift for Christmas or birthday. If you need my mailing address, just let me know (shameful hint here).

Kim teaches us how to use the wide grosgrain ribbon in lots of cute ways with folding, sticky strip tape, linen twine and brads. Dramatic effects.

My sister in law was privileged to meet Kim and found her to be very creative and fun. After seeing this video, I totally concur!! It's really adorable. Loved her Christmas snowman version as well.

I love using acetate. It's just so different than using basic cardstock. Makes your art unique and fun. But, you must use the Stazon ink pads. Regular ink pads don't work on the acetate.

Love this idea. You can even mail the card too even though it's a shadow box card. The birthday card she shows at the end of the video is really adorable too. Gotta make this one.
