Bleach & Pastels Technique by Frenchie

Francie made the prettiest fall card with this technique. You must remember to wash your stamps soon after using them with bleach, with hot/soapy water, then dry. I would also rub them in the SU stamp cleaner as it has a moisturizer to keep the rubber soft. It's a really good product. Happy Fall, Everybody.

Bird Seed Wreath by Cherry Hill Cottage

Bird seed wreath...Tie with ribbons and hang it for the birds to enjoy.

Bird Seed Wreath~

3/4 cup flour

1/2 cup warm water

3 tablespoons light corn syrup

1 pkg. unflavored gelatin

4 cups bird seed

bundt pan

nonstick spray

Stir the gelatin into warm water until dissolved. Whisk in the corn syrup and flour. Stir well, it will make a thick gooey paste.

Mix the seeds with the paste in a large bowl until all of the seeds are coated and the edible glue is distributed. The mixture will start getting very sticky.

Make sure its well mixed to keep the wreath from falling apart.

Spray the bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Using a spoon, press the seed mixture into the bundt pan. Be sure to press the mixture down firmly until its well packed and even. Set the pan aside overnight. The mixture will harden and turn white and the surface will be firm and dry when its ready.

Once the wreath is hard, gently remove it from the mold. Tie with ribbons, and hang it for birds to enjoy!!

My friend made me one of these wreaths and shared this blog site with me. I was in love with the cute ideas (The link is under my favorites on the right side of page). These make great gifts for the bird lovers in your life.

Quick Coloring of Stamped Images by Hero Arts

This is great tutorial on fast & fabulous ways to color with ink, markers, & pencils.

Watercoloring a Stamped Image by Crissy

I really enjoying watching her technique. She systematically wets sections of the image with water, then adds color. Color blends better showing greater depth of shading in your image. This is the true way to watercolor paint.

Blossom Petal Punch WOW Card by Tami White

I really like the petal punch. Making multi-dimentional flowers is always fun. And, using embossed paper adds even more texture to the petals. Tami also applied the "tone on tone" technique for interest. Give it a try.

CRACKED GLASS by Papertrey Ink/Heather Nichols

Heather requires that you use a thick embossing powder called "UTEE". It looks like sugar.

Trixie the Pom

My sweet little baby crossed over Rainbow Bridge today. We will miss her so much. I know that Rosie and Shermy were there to greet you, my sweet baby. Now, you are playing and prancing like you love to do, and are joyful at the endless supply of doggie treats. Wait for me. Can't wait to see you again. Love you forever.

Wilted Roses using Satin Ribbon - by Ann Clemmer

Wilted Ribbon Flower from Stamper Dog on Vimeo.

These roses are really beautiful and elegant. Remember to use a cookie sheet pan as it holds the heat underneath and helps the petals curl more quickly. Let me know if you try this technique!

Friendship Card by Olivia Mulligan

Sometimes you come across some pretty stickers that inspire you with color and design. This card along with the embossing image was all it needed (IMHO). I like to have some simple thank you cards for friends; I have some very kind and generous people in my life and want to appreciate them with a homemade card.

Bird & Flower Pot Card by Olivia Mulligan

This was an old stamp set that I felt was sweet. I used some glitter around the edge of the white paper (fine line). Also placed a few pearls around the card for a little vintage feel. With all the birds in my backyard, I felt inspired to make this card. It's like a little tribute to Spring -- my favorite season.

BUTTERFLY CARD by Olivia Mulligan

I had fun making this card using a butterfly big shot die. And, I always find a way to add some bling (glitter). Glitter makes me happy!! :)

TRIANGLE CARD by Dawn Griffith

This is a really ingenious design for a card. Never saw it before. Love how you insert your note inside the triangle pocket. You could even insert a gift card as well. Fun!

JOY FOLD CARD by Stampin Shack

I love this card design. The video is done very well (she's a former teacher so no surprise there). Her card designs have really evolved too. She has become one of my favorites.
